The Royal Norwegian Navy (Sjøforsvaret, lit. 'Sea defence') is the branch of
the Norwegian Armed Forces responsible for naval operations of Norway, including
those of the Norwegian Coast Guard.

dark blue with a yellow anchor and Norwegian crown is placed over the anchor.

The flag of Royal Norwegian Naval Academy (Sjøkrigsskolen) located in Bergen
(Laksevåg) is blue with a black shield edged by yellow rope, surmounted by a
crown and bearing a yellow fouled anchor.
